Hi Poorabi’s!
We are making some basic preparations for our journey, and here goes our cover picture to visually represent what we are heading towards.
پُورَب پُورَب تب ڪرُون، جب هِنئڙي آوَنِ پُورَ!
Concept:
The cover photo is carefully curated to feature a swan, crow, lotus, pond, a flock of birds, a small jungle, and some hills! These are all the things we will come across on our path, therefore we need to be acquainted with all the attributes of our journey!
Redrawing Poorab:
Poorab is a direction - The East, but here it is meant to lead us in a symbolic direction i.e., Inwards. Poorab also symbolizes a non-physical place, rather a state of mind where one bursts into ecstasy and weightlessly floats in the moment!
Poorab Safar is a Journey Inward, a deep dive into the mystic poetry, music, and folklore of Sindh, and the East in general, to trace the paths less known but worth travelled!
